Brain Awareness Week: Brainfacts.org

CF Learning Recommended Brain Awareness Week Website.

When you are ready to learn more, a lot more, about your brain, check out brainfacts.org. The site is the CF Learning recommended website for Brain Awareness Week and contains information for all degrees of neuro-enthusiasts, from beginner to expert.

It was launched in May of 2012 as a public information initiative of The Kavli Foundation, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, and the Society for Neuroscience.  The goal of the site is to, “offer a new way for people of all ages to learn more about how the brain works, how it drives thought and behavior, and its role in brain diseases and disorders.” (from Brainfacts.org)

If we had to choose (and it’s difficult to do), our favorite pages are the multi-media library that contains lots of expert, engaging and funny videos collected from around the web and Sensing, Thinking & Behaving. This page explores the senses, movement, attention, language and other fascinating topics!  Head over to brainfacts.org for this great content and more.  Find out more about brainfacts.org here.
